In the next few days, a chapter in my life will be closing for good & won’t be returning. It’s been a big part of life for the last few years & I’m glad it’s going. I’ve worked in the security industry in the UK for the last 8 years. I’d like to say it’s been a blast but it hasn’t, there have been times when I’ve had a good time doing what’s required and enjoyed working but there have also been times when I’ve felt less than human due to my working conditions.
Where do I go from here is a question I have been asking myself for the last month as my sick pay has run out from my soon-to-be previous employer, what do I do now? How will I earn money now? There are only so many benefits to be claimed and I’ve always worked to get by. Being a house husband is okay but having the money you’ve earned is much better.
My day is spent doing tasks like taking my kids to & from school, doing laundry etc but there’s room for improvement & do something to get back to working for a living. Writing a blog is okay but you need to have followers to make money from it & have regular readers of your posts & I’m not getting that at the moment.
Being a gaming blogger is fun but it’s hard work when you’re ill & life gets in the way, one of these days I’m going to figure things out & do something amazing.
